Brought to you by a grant from the USDA, these videos share the compelling reasons why shopping at a local farmers market is so impactful. On November 1, 2025 the Boise Farmers Market served 551 SNAP households, distributing $21,976 to struggling households. After the government shutdown led to the abrupt end of SNAP benefits, with less than 5 days notice the Market rallied to gain support for our community in need. We are MORE THAN A MARKET, we are a community who "gets farmers paid and neighbors fed."

Farmers Markets encourage and foster relationships between food trucks/specialty food vendors and their farmer/rancher counterparts. Learn how our vendors share the bounty and produce delicious on-site food; picked with love from their very local booth neighbors.

Sustainability is one of BFM values. Watch as we grow our grassroots effort to reduce our landfill waste and minimize our impact by using compostable products and partnering with Timber Creek Recycling to compost all Market waste.
